Surge Protection

Inside the surge protector, there is the primary power line or live cable which features an additional link attached to it that feeds into the floor. Any extra current is diverted safely to the ground through the earth wire. The surge connection remains in a dormant state until a voltage that is excessive compared to some quality one triggers it to direct extra current to the ground through the extra cable. This prevents excessive current from flowing to your home appliances hence protecting them from damage.
